Pam (10 out of 10 ) I love this movie. It made you think about the importance of life and self worth.
Alan (10 out of 10 ) One of my favorite movies. The power of human will to succeed over limitations both biological and psychological. In life, the greatest battle anyone faces is against themselves. This film really captures the optimistic thought that the greatest personal limitations we face are never insurmountable.
Jaysson (10 out of 10 ) One of my top movies, in so many aspects. Storyline was simple, but complex. The music compliments the movie wonderfullly dramatic. The cinematography evokes the 50-60s era in a post-utopia society. With a willing suspension of disbelief and stripping away any futuristic society and imagery, the film asks of you to find what worth a human life has. It also calls out the tension in society over playing with the genome. This movie is fantastic. A triumph.
Vi (10 out of 10 ) My science teacher lent me this movie a few months before he left to teach at another school and having found it in a dvd store the other day I bought it. After refreshing my memory of it I remembered how I felt the first time I watched it. It is a brilliant film and definitely one of my favourites. The whole thought that that is what the future may be like, intrigues me. I absolutely adore this movie and would recommend it to anyone, and I have to most of my friends. Jude Law and Ethan Hawke combined with a brilliant performance from Uma Thurman makes this movie a true pleasure to watch.
GattFan (10 out of 10 ) I agree with the rest of the posters. This movie should have received great acclaim; it's one of my favorites. The simplicity of the script, the visuals make the message so powerful-- a masterpiece! I wouldn't change anything in this movie.
Daniel (10 out of 10 ) A favorite of mine; the movie is seamless, and you actually care what happens in the lives of the characters. The movie is a proper question being asked by an intelligent human being; the movie beautifully asks the question and paints what he hopes could be the answer concerning the future of humanity. Music is inspiring; it is seamless, as the movie seems to "breathe" it with each scene. I agree with GattFan, I wouldn't change a thing. Writing is good, acting was good, the camera work and editing was great, the music was great - I bought the soundtrack - everything enjoyable... except that it ended leaving you wishing it didn't!!
Nuke (10 out of 10 ) This movie is great. I can't believe that it was not acclaimed as it should have been, great acting, fantastic storyline, great music. It's really among the best movies ever.
Heptacle (10 out of 10 ) Best Script. This script is slightly better than the movie itself. But the movie is also a masterpiece.
